Lena and Nick: Milwaukee Area Wedding Photography

The day started cool and overcast, but soon the sun shone in full force. As they prepared for their first opportunity to see each other on their wedding day, their close family and friends kept them laughing and lighthearted to set the tone for the rest of the day. As we hit some of their favorite spots in Milwaukee, it was clear how these places and the people they surrounded themselves with were so incredibly important to them, their thoughtfulness and selflessness, especially for each other, was evident at every point of the day. Meet Lena and Nick!
The girls got ready in a room with a view at The Iron Horse Hotel:
Lena and Nick opted for a "First Look" so we would have adequate time for pictures on their wedding day:
From the hotel, we went a short distance to the Historic Third Ward for more bridal party pictures:
Instead of a unity candle, they opted for a black and tan, another unique touch!
Right after the ceremony we jumped on the trolley to head to the Marquette campus to hit up Caffrey's Bar, then a quick bride and groom session at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.
Then we headed back to the South Shore Pavilion where the hall was again full of beautiful details:

Great shots, Em! I love all the details - they are everywhere and well done. Great continuity of ideas. And a GORGEOUS bride! Congrats to the newlyweds!
